To strengthen our motivated team in Schaffhausen, we are looking for an engaged Service Technician to join us as soon as possible. Tasks
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on highly automated production equipment (mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic)
- Perform preventive maintenance and servicing of production equipment
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams, Production Engineering, and external service providers to ensure smooth production operations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment, including Lean Management activities
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an Automation Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Mechanical Technician, Production Technician, Electrician, or in a comparable technical field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial automation, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing complex production and assembly systems (mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic)
- NIV13 or NIV15 electrical installation certification is an advantage, or willingness to obtain it with ABB support
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, combined with a proactive and independent working style
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- Excellent German language skills (written and spoken); English language skills are an advantage
- Willingness to work in a three-shift operation, including on-call duty after the onboarding period
