Tasks

  • Manage a global product portfolio for grain handling solutions, focusing on ship loading and unloading equipment and belt conveyor systems throughout the entire product lifecycle.
  • Define and execute product and portfolio strategies, including roadmaps, business cases, development priorities, and lifecycle decisions.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, technologies, and competitors to develop compelling product requirements, value propositions, and market positioning.
  • Lead product development and go-to-market activities, coordinating closely with sales, marketing, R&D, service, and regional teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Act as the key interface between global stakeholders, technical teams, and international locations, driving collaboration, innovation, product expertise, and portfolio growth.

Requirements

  • University degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • Several years of experience in product management or sales within an industrial B2B environment; industry knowledge in grain handling, bulk material handling, or conveying systems is an advantage.
  • Strong business acumen combined with a structured, self-driven, and results-oriented working style.
  • International mindset with experience in cross-functional and matrix organizations as well as willingness to travel globally (20%-30%).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in German and English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
