Destinus is at the forefront of European aerospace and defense technologies, developing AI-driven autonomous flight systems and advanced turbine engines. This role is the transactional engine of the procurement team, responsible for executing the day-to-day purchasing process with speed, accuracy, and compliance to support our operations.
Tasks
- Process approved purchase requisitions and MRP proposals into accurate Purchase Orders (POs) in MS Dynamics, ensuring adherence to negotiated contracts and terms.
- Obtain timely PO confirmations from suppliers and maintain accurate data in the ERP system.
- Monitor open order status, track deliveries against need dates, and proactively expedite orders as required.
- Serve as the first point of contact for suppliers regarding routine operational matters such as delivery schedules, quantities, and shipping documentation.
- Resolve basic operational issues, such as invoice discrepancies (matching PO/Receipt/Invoice), minor delivery delays, or documentation queries.
- Escalate complex or recurring issues to the Procurement Specialist.
Requirements
- Degree in a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- High proficiency and accuracy in using ERP systems (MS Dynamics essential).
- Detail-oriented "Executor" who thrives on process, accuracy, and ensuring tasks are completed correctly and on time.
- Able to follow instruction from the Procurement Country lead.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Fluent English speaker.
