As a Process Safety Data Analyst Intern, you will play a vital role in predicting safety-relevant properties by analysing recipes for flavour and fragrance products. This internship offers hands-on experience in data analysis and model documentation, working closely with safety lab and data science teams. The position is limited to 6 months (workload 60%) and is based in Kemptthal, reporting directly to the EHS CoE Global Data Management Manager.
Tasks
- Implement existing data analysis methods in a new software environment.
- Build consistent setup for current and future workflows.
- Explore opportunities in the new software environment to leverage low hanging fruits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of safety assessments.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in contemporary data analysis techniques and strong analytical skills.
- Basic knowledge of organic chemistry.
- Experience in various programming environments.
- Fluency in both German and English.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.
