We have an open position for an intern in our local engineering or quality team for consumable production. Bring your expertise to help us continuously improve our production and optimize our machine productivity. The start date is flexible according to student availability, with a preferred minimum duration of 6 months.
Tasks
- Work as part of a competent and diverse team operating in fields such as anchor production, direct fastening, and diamond consumables.
- Collaborate closely with experts in Engineering, Development, and Production to improve processes and manage your own projects along the value stream.
- Contribute to continuous improvement processes and operational excellence, working on next generation manufacturing technologies within the context of industry 4.0.
- Participate in the development and implementation of solutions and new production processes.
- Contribute innovative ideas to the innovation process to help advance production.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Engineering (e.g. Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Material Science, Quality Management) for the entire internship period.
- Preferably first experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in German or English.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and strong self-management skills.
- Passion for innovation and process development.
- Curiosity about new production processes and a hands-on mentality.
- Enthusiasm to learn and drive to succeed.
