As a Segment Manager, you will lead strategic product development, inspire a dynamic team, and influence global product managers. This is your opportunity to drive innovation, collaborate across regions, and set new industry standards in a full-time role with up to 20% travel.
Tasks
- Define and drive the long-term product innovation roadmap for your segment, identifying opportunities across product categories and aligning with the business unit strategy.
- Translate customer needs into hardware, software, and service solutions while staying ahead of industry trends and competitors.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from launch to phase-out.
- Lead strategic initiatives that drive sustainable value.
- Serve as the key connection between sales regions and internal functions such as Development, Engineering, Supply, and Quality.
- Build and guide a strong team of product managers to ensure business success and enable their personal and professional development.
An onboarding path will be created to help you learn quickly and gain a comprehensive understanding of the matrix organization.
Requirements
- Background in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Willingness and flexibility to work internationally, with openness to international mobility.
- Experience gained in a top-tier management consulting environment, or an MBA from a leading institution, or comparable leadership experience in a high-performing engineering or technical consultancy.
- Strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to define clear direction and translate strategy into action.
- Experience leading or managing teams, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
- Curiosity and drive to develop innovative, practical solutions that improve the construction industry.
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).
