Liebherr Machines Bulle SA is the centre of excellence for combustion engines (diesel and gas engines) and hydraulic components (axial piston pumps and motors). The company develops and produces products used in building construction, civil engineering, mining, agriculture, decentralised energy, machine and plant engineering, as well as aerospace.
Tasks
- Act as the technical interface between Liebherr Ettlingen and Liebherr Machines Bulle to support coordination, alignment, and knowledge exchange for all remanufacturing topics.
- Ensure the consistent integration of remanufacturing requirements throughout the product development process.
- Design, document, and maintain remanufacturing products and components including CAD models, technical drawings, BOMs, and PLM data, while meeting technical, cost, quality, and schedule targets.
- Work in close cooperation with interdisciplinary internal departments and suppliers to ensure technical alignment, clarification, and co‑design for remanufacturing applications.
- Establish and continuously improve remanufacturing engineering processes through guidelines, best practices, and effective knowledge management to ensure efficient remanufacturing development.
Requirements
- Successfully completed engineering studies in a relevant field.
- Previous experience in combustion engine design.
- Strong technical expertise in combustion engines (diesel required, gasoline and/or hydrogen is a plus) and basic ability to interpret simulation results (1D, CFD, FEA, NVH).
- Advanced proficiency in IT tools, including MS Office, PTC Creo, and PLM Albatros, as well as basic knowledge of ERP systems.
- Autonomous, innovative, goal‑driven, and comfortable working in an international environment.
- Able and willing to travel regularly to Liebherr Ettlingen, approximately once per month.
- Fluent in English and German, ideally in French.
