Your tasks
- Act as the technical link between teams to support coordination, alignment, and sharing of knowledge on remanufacturing topics.
- Make sure remanufacturing needs are included throughout the product development process.
- Design, document, and maintain remanufacturing products and components using CAD models, technical drawings, BOMs, and PLM data, while meeting targets for quality, cost, and schedule.
- Work closely with different internal departments and suppliers to ensure technical alignment and co-design for remanufacturing applications.
- Create and improve remanufacturing engineering processes using guidelines, best practices, and effective knowledge management for efficient development.
What you bring
- Completed engineering studies in a relevant field.
- Experience in combustion engine design.
- Strong technical skills in combustion engines (diesel required; gasoline and/or hydrogen is a plus).
- Basic ability to interpret simulation results (1D, CFD, FEA, NVH).
- Advanced skills in MS Office, PTC Creo, and PLM Albatros; basic knowledge of ERP systems.
- Work independently, are innovative, and goal-driven.
- Comfortable working in an international environment.
- Willing and able to travel regularly to Ettlingen, about once per month.
- Fluent in English and German; French is a plus.
