Liebherr Machines Bulle SA is the centre of excellence for combustion engines and hydraulic components, developing and producing products used in construction, mining, agriculture, energy, machine and plant engineering, and aerospace. The workplace is located in Bulle, surrounded by the nature of the Gruyère region.
Tasks
- Design and optimize wiring harness assemblies for combustion engines, considering technical, scheduling, and financial aspects (design-to-cost based on customer requirements).
- Prepare technical presentations and define wiring harness topology and technology approach with the E/E design team.
- Create and manage 2D drawings.
- Create bill of materials for wiring harness assembly.
- Design and define cabling components (electrical cables, connectors, fastening material) according to standards, regulations, and functional requirements.
- Support the PLM system (BOM creation, lifecycle promotion, release process).
- Create and maintain technical documentation and component specifications.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate tests as part of the approval process for prototypes or series.
- Cooperate with departments within the project environment and with component suppliers to clarify technical properties and support manufacturing-related issues.
Requirements
- Completed technical training or comparable qualifications in electro-mechanical design.
- Several years of experience in wiring harness design.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Zuken E3, PTC Creo Cabling, and PLM Albatros.
- Profound knowledge with Zuken E3 is a must; PTC CREO Cabling is an added value.
- Known for autonomy, commitment, and strong organizational skills.
- Flexible and resilient, enjoy working in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to innovate and goal-oriented approach.
- Fluent in French, ideally with good knowledge of English and German.
- Willingness to develop for defense applications.
