Are you ready to take on the role of Laboratory Technician in our analytical Quality Control laboratory, located in Visp? Join a laboratory with brand-new technology and instruments, and collaborate with a vibrant and international team.

Tasks

  • Conduct routine analysis of biopharmaceuticals using HPLC, applying a wide variety of HPLC techniques (e.g. RP, SEC, AEX) and detectors (e.g. UV, fluorescence, light scattering, refractive index).
  • Perform analytical methods in line with SOPs, GMP and safety rules, specifically focusing on HPLC analyses.
  • Adhere to quality guidelines and carry out practical laboratory work as well as essential administrative tasks, including detailing results and crafting work instructions.
  • Support laboratory maintenance (equipment responsibility) and ensure the laboratory is clean and tidy.
  • Cooperate closely with shift workers.

Requirements

  • Apprenticeship as laboratory technician, CTA, BSc in Chemistry/Biochemistry or similar education.
  • Hands-on experience with HPLC is a must.
  • Work experience in a GMP environment in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is a plus.
  • Conscientious, structured and responsible, with the ability to adjust flexibly to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in either English or German is required, preferably with basic skills in the respective other language and willingness to learn/improve the other language if not yet fluent in both.
