In this role, you will work with the CIO, Trading & Sales Entities, and the Digital Transformation Office to drive the building and adoption of AI practices across the organization.

Tasks

  • Drive the building and adoption of AI practices within MET Group.
  • Set up and embody the AI Enablement practice to enable delivery and business teams to elevate their delivery pace and quality.
  • Implement solid, reliable, and scalable engineering practices and develop AI agents using solutions such as Claude or Copilot.
  • Act as a hands-on builder and coach, working directly with business or engineering teams to identify acceleration opportunities and create reusable agents, improved pipelines, or more efficient workflows.
  • Drive the maturity growth of end-user-AI productivity solutions.
  • Co-evolve the MET Group AI strategy with the CIO and key stakeholders, staying up to date with market developments, cost considerations, and open-weight/make/buy decisions.
  • Work directly with delivery squads to diagnose inefficiencies and design agentic, machine learning, or automated solutions.
  • Increase quality, security, and value delivery using agentic loops in CICD pipelines.
  • Implement observability practices and evaluations in MLOps, and drive quality and standardization in areas such as central feature-stores, training data sets, evaluation data sets, and model drift evaluation.
  • Lead change management and adoption efforts by coaching and designing measures for AI practice adoption across the organization.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on industry experience in software engineering and AI/data science developing ML solutions and AI agents for end-user-AI tooling (e.g. Claude) and enterprise agentic AI (prompt/agent design, tool use, evaluation).
  • Fundamental understanding of and experience with building data science solutions.
  • Degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Software Engineering.
  • Ability to connect in various contexts (Sales, Trading, Technology, Senior Management) and ask the right questions to gain key insights for strategic analysis and business case development.
  • Coaching instinct to guide teams and management in building their own skills for increased autonomy.
  • Nice to have: Experience with Databricks, Azure Cloud, Azure Foundry, agent-orchestration frameworks and LLMOps, MLOps, Azure-agentic development tooling, LLM-Gateways (openRouter).
  • Nice to have: Exposure to working in the B2C/B2B energy industry.
