As a Manufacturing Specialist Roasting at Nestlé Product Technology Center for Coffee & Beverages in Orbe, Switzerland, your mission is to provide technical assistance and manufacturing support to coffee factories, helping them deliver safe, high-quality and efficient operations. You will collaborate closely with factory teams, market teams, product technology experts, engineering, packaging, automation, research and development specialists, business units and suppliers to drive innovation and create unique consumer experiences at a global scale.
Tasks
- Support coffee factories with technical expertise to strengthen safety, quality, cost, delivery and environmental performance.
- Drive innovation and renovation by applying manufacturing competence to new products, processes and technologies.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing standards to help factories deploy technology consistently and learn from real operations.
- Build factory capabilities through training, workshops, knowledge sharing and specialist networks in coffee manufacturing.
- Improve factory performance by contributing to process optimization, technical assistance and operational excellence initiatives.
- Enable successful industrial solutions by bringing manufacturing inputs to capacity projects, line qualification and technology deployment.
Requirements
- Strong coffee manufacturing know-how, especially in roasting, processing technologies, food safety and quality.
- Ability to apply technical expertise to support factory operations, product trials, process optimization and continuous improvement.
- Experience using manufacturing standards, training methods and digital tools to build capability and share knowledge across factory networks.
- Ability to collaborate across functions, factories and suppliers with clear communication, project management and stakeholder alignment.
- Fluent communication in English and demonstration of courage, collaboration, speed and continuous learning.
