Tasks
- Lead a team of experts on Data Protection to help clients secure and protect their most valuable data.
- Drive strategic efforts to expand the client base, foster partnerships, and contribute to the team's overall growth trajectory.
- Help clients implement end-to-end data protection solutions, identify gaps, and recommend improvements that secure data and satisfy Swiss and global regulatory requirements.
- Join the extended leadership team in Cyber Security, collaborating with experts in Identity and Access Management, Third Party Risk, Cyber Threat Intelligence, and Cloud Security.
- Cultivate a collaborative environment within a team of security experts and a global network, focusing on building strong internal and external relationships.
- Foster a supportive, friendly, and flexible work environment to ensure the success and well-being of the team.
- Oversee Data Protection programs, establish yourself as a trusted advisor to clients, and be accountable for project delivery.
- Manage partnerships with Data Protection vendors.
- Coach and develop team members on their career path, while contributing to the team growth strategy.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Information Security, GRC or related domains.
- Experience in consulting is considered advantageous.
- Technical understanding and hands-on experience in various Data Protection technologies such as Microsoft, Broadcomm, and familiarity with technologies such as data masking, encryption, cloud-based security, and tokenisation.
- Experience with Data Protection feasibility assessments, solution architectures, implementations, and operational experience running data protection programs.
- Familiarity with the principles of data protection and information lifecycles, and Swiss and key global (EU, UK, US, APAC) data protection regulatory requirements, with the ability to perform compliance assessments on topics such as FADP, GDPR, CPRA, PCI, ISO 27001.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management and staff.
- Fluent in English; German and/or French are a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Information Systems, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or another equivalent education; professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are a plus.
