Seeking a Global Medical Science Leader to drive medical strategy and evidence generation for Alzheimer’s disease within Roche’s Neurology team. Lead cross-functional collaboration to inform clinical practice and product development. Ideal for an MD with expertise in neurology and Alzheimer’s, and a strong background in clinical research and practice.
Tasks
- Lead and coordinate medical strategy contributions to the integrated product life-cycle strategy for assigned products within the disease area.
- Develop and execute evidence generation strategies that incorporate essential clinical practice data and address access needs.
- Coordinate the overall integrated evidence strategy, including Clinical Development Plans (CDP) and data needs for market access and value demonstration.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in Scientific Communication, Patient Partnership, Commercial, and Research & Drug Development.
- Represent medical expertise in clinical research and clinical practice to catalyze the transformation of the respective disease area.
- Maintain a current view of external trends, stakeholder expectations, and healthcare ecosystem needs.
- Integrate perspectives from multiple stakeholders, including healthcare providers, patients, nurses, and payers, into strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- An MD with relevant clinical research and practice experience, including patient care decision-making.
- Specialization degree (neurology board certification) and experience in Alzheimer’s disease (fellowship or similar).
- Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix environment with diverse cross-functional colleagues.
- Strong understanding of the Integrated Development and Commercialization Planning process.
- Expertise in evidence generation and the ability to translate complex medical data into actionable strategy.
