Tasks
- Strategically and operationally steer the International Order Management department as a global leader.
- Oversee 10 to 25 employees across Switzerland, Germany, and the USA, balancing strategic process design, operational excellence, global people leadership, and project leadership.
- Design, standardize, and automate global order management processes to improve global supply chain efficiency.
- Enforce compliance with global standards, legal frameworks, and regulatory requirements for export, customs, and foreign trade activities.
- Lead and motivate a cross-cultural team, managing International Order Managers and Senior International Order Managers, and prepare to oversee multiple direct-report People Leaders.
- Initiate and lead global, cross-functional project teams, acting as a primary interface between internal stakeholders, innovation projects, and external partners such as Logistics Service Providers.
- Monitor core Order Management KPIs and implement continuous improvement measures to ensure high process quality and achievement of organizational targets.
- Navigate unpredictable supply chain disruptions and harmonize complex regional workflows to create integrated, future-ready solutions.
- Present regularly to the Hub Operations Leadership Team, Regional Supply Chain Heads, and Affiliate Supply Chain Leaders to balance local operational needs with global harmonization mandates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field required; higher degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 to 8 years of professional experience in international logistics and supply chain management, with comprehensive expertise in end-to-end dynamics.
- Sound knowledge of export and customs processes, foreign trade law, and technical proficiency in SAP ERP systems.
- Proven project management experience, ideally with practical application of Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization.
- Exceptional transformational leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Business-level fluency in English.
- Ability to foster an inclusive, high-performance culture across diverse, cross-cultural teams.
