Are you eager to take up a new challenge? Join the Compliance Department as a Compliance Officer in the Compliance Support and Sanctions service. You will have multiple tasks and, in addition to sanction topics, you will be exposed to a wide range of Compliance activities related to financial security.

Tasks

  • Perform sanctions due diligence on clients and related parties during onboarding phases as well as periodic or ad hoc review phases.
  • Perform analysis on true sanctions hits escalated by Compliance Monitoring as part of sanction screening on the client base and transactional activity.
  • Assess potential exposure to sectoral sanctions, export controls, dual-use goods, and sanctioned industries.
  • Provide recommendations regarding acceptance, rejection, or escalation of client relationships.
  • Support and advise other compliance officers on sanction-related topics.
  • Monitor regulatory sanction news impacting the bank and analyze the impact on the client base, including new sanctions packages.
  • Draft and maintain sanctions policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the calibration and optimization of sanctions screening systems.
  • Contribute to the bank’s monitoring of risk tolerance, risk analysis, and key risk indicators.
  • Support ad hoc reporting requests, including special requests, audits, and regulatory reviews.
  • Provide targeted training on sanctions.
  • Draft internal memos and presentations.
  • Support and advise management.

Requirements

  • Expert in Financial Sanction.
  • Good knowledge in Swiss banking and financial laws.
  • Analytical and methodological approach.
  • Very good writing and communication skills in French and English (other languages is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent command of Powerpoint.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage high workloads.
  • Strong team player who enjoys working in multicultural, dynamic, technological, and international environment.
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Laws or Economics with appetite for data crunching and analysis.
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in the financial industry.
